Easing Into Winter… Finally.
Hi everyone,
I know I’m way behind on my winter newsletter. December 21st feels like a lifetime ago — so last year. And the last two months of 2025 were not just busy, but packed, overflowing, and left me completely saturated. In the best possible way, but still, saturated.
There were so many people, so many events, so much travel, food, wine, champagne, celebration. Between the retreat in Argentina, slipping down to Patagonia with Paul, Thanksgiving, Christmas on the Cape, and then ringing in the New Year in Québec with my whole family (hosted, as always, by my grandmother who is 102 and still going strong), it was all beautiful and full… and a lot.
Now that I’m finally back on the Cape, I can feel myself easing out of that go, go, go mode. I don’t have much planned for the next few weeks, which feels amazing. More time for self care, a little indoor volleyball, simple dinners pulled from the freezer and pantry, catching up on admin, and maybe watching that TV series everyone keeps talking about… hehe!
But in the middle of all that catching up, the admin, the Christmas decorations finally coming down, the reset, I also know I need to think ahead. Many of you have been asking, “So what’s next?”
And honestly, after the huge success of our Argentina retreat with Yoga Adventures Worldwide — tango lessons, asados up the wazoo, kayaking, cooking classes, hiking, spectacular wines, and just an amazing group of humans — I knew I wanted to line up another adventure with them for 2026.
Santorini Greece Yoga Retreat
Think yoga, ocean views, beautiful local food, village life, and long exhale moments — all in a part of Santorini most visitors never see. A dreamy way to experience this sun soaked Greek island, TruroYoga + Yoga Adventure Worldwide style.
I don’t know about you, but January has never been my favorite month. Still, this year I’m welcoming it — the reprieve before I make my way to Baja. I’ll be in Cabo Pulmo at the end of February, and by then I’ll be more than ready to trade my beanie for my sun hat. If that sounds tempting, there are still a few spots open. It’s a truly restorative week — the perfect mid-winter escape.
Before I wrap this up, I just want to acknowledge how heavy the world feels right now. With so much chaos and fear swirling around, I find myself extra grateful for this community and the steadiness we offer one another. I feel very lucky to have landed here.
If you want to practice, I’m here. Classes are running, and Sunday classes are FREE — on Zoom or in person. I’m grateful for all of you who keep showing up. Let’s support one another and stay in touch as we navigate these difficult times together.
And for a little joy boost, I leave you with Mr. Cutts’ Old music Friday. You’re welcome.
Wishing you a steady start to 2026.
