“Embracing the ever-evolving flow of my life with compassion and grace — honoring my fragilities as well as joyfully celebrating my strengths — is how my practice has shifted from doing yoga to wholeheartedly living yoga” – Genevieve Morin

Genevieve’s yoga practice has evolved for over fifteen years. After completing her first 200-hour teacher training, she has taught and mentored internationally, returning home to found TruroYoga. A trilingual teacher with dual citizenship, Genevieve is fluent in french, spanish and english. She has shared her deep passion for movement and respect for the body with students of all levels from around the globe.

Genevieve’s love and dedication for yoga has led her to continue her studies. Her teaching style has been informed by a wide variety of instructors: Richard Freeman, Patricia Walden, Daniel Odier and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa among them. Her esteemed teacher, Shiva Rea, founder of Prana Vinyasa Yoga, has been her greatest inspiration and primary influence in developing Genevieve’s practice.

Genevieve mentors in Shiva Rea’s 200/500 hour teacher training and assists Rea in workshops and classes. Genevieve also offers her own year-round retreats and workshops both on Cape Cod and internationally. Occasionally Genevieve will work with individual clients to create specially tailored retreats around the world. Please contact Genevieve for more information.

“Stay present in your breath and be compassionate with yourself as you discover and play with your evolutionary edge.” – Shiva Rea
